I cannot find the Evision login page

If you type 'evision' into the search box on the University Home page and select 'Evision' from the search results you will be taken to the Evision page from where you can select the 'Log into Evision' link. Alternatively, select Evision from the Quick Links on the Metranet Home page, or go directly to the Evision page.

I don’t know my Evision login

Your Evision username and password are the same as your University network login that you use when you log into University computers. Your login will be in the format ABC1234 and is printed on your University student identity card. Your username and password will have been included in your Letter of Admission or were otherwise issued to you at the start of your course.

I don't know my password, or my password does not work

Usernames and passwords were included in your Letter of Admission or were otherwise issued to you at the start of your course or when you are given access to Applicant Portal. You are strongly advised to register with the University's password self-service facility. Once registered - should you forget your password - you will be able to reset, change or unlock your password easily and securely. To register for this facility click on the Password Management link on the evision login page, or click here.

If you don't know or have forgotten your password and have not registered with the self-service facility you will need to contact the IT Helpdesk to have your password reset. Please note: if you are currently suspended from the University for non payment of tuition fees your access to IT facilities will have been suspended and your account will not be re-activated until outstanding fees have been paid. Please also see Evision Passwords.

Evision does not display my current course

If you have undertaken another course at the University you may need to change the course displayed in Evision. Go to the ‘My Details’ page in Evision and select the link ‘Update Evision to display my current course’. This will display the course you currently view in Evision and list all your other courses. To switch to view another course select the course reference (your student ID number followed by a ‘/2’. ‘/3’ etc. - for example, 09001234/2) on the left-hand-side from the drop-down list.

The information in Evision is incorrect

You will need to contact the relevant administrative office to ensure the information is corrected. Click on the 'Help/Query' button or the ‘?’ icon within the Evision screen to access contact details for the appropriate office. To prevent problems later in your studies you are advised to resolve queries about your record as early as possible.

Evision shows that I am ‘suspended’

If you have been suspended for financial or other reasons will not have full access to Evision. Certain information - for example, module results - will not be available to you.

I have paid my outstanding debt, but still cannot access Evision

If you have been suspended for non payment of fees you should allow up to 48 hours for your Evision access to be re-instated in full.

The coursework coversheet I need to print is not available in Evision

Coursework coversheets should be available in good time for you to print from Evision. However, if your coversheet is not available you can use the button at the bottom of the coursework coversheet screen to produce your coversheet. You should also ensure that you are registered on the module by contacting your Undergraduate or Postgraduate Office. For further information on coursework coversheet please see the relevant Academic Registry webpage.

My coursework coversheet is incorrect

If the information on your coversheet conflicts with other information you have been given please contact your module leader or the Undergraduate or Postgraduate Office as soon as possible. For further information on coursework coversheet please see the relevant Academic Registry webpage.
